Don't touch those scissors

Updated: Jun 6, 2020

Having a pair of scissors doesn't mean you're a hairdresser!

With the raised viewing figures on Social Media there has never been a better time to ensure you’re message and image is consistent and professional.

With no printing to tell a story our only way of showcasing who we are and what we do is ‘virtually’.

We’ve recently been using Zoom more than ever before and find it amazing how people don’t think about what’s behind them - a simple and cost effective way forward would be to have a virtual background set-up and placed to give you the professional look and feel.

Together with everyone’s hair growing, due to lack of hairdresser appointments there’s the inevitable thought of ‘I’ve got some scissors/or clippers, I can cut your hair.' Many of us are now realising that simply having a pair of scissors doesn't make you a hairdresser, having the tools isn’t enough. Hairdressing, like graphic design is a trade which training, experience and knowledge ensure you get the correct result.

Having a computer does not mean you are a designer - it’s just one of the tools we use. So if you want to stand out from the crowd, make your brand instantly recognisable and maintain your professional image talk to a graphic designer.

Do it before it’s too late as any bad piece of design will lower your image!
